BSDEF Programs

Donations received and funds raised by the BSDEF are used to support BSDEF’s three programs: 
 

Post-Secondary Education Scholarships 

​

The BSDEF awards merit-based scholarships to senior students enrolled in the Blackhawk School District based on their academic achievements, extracurricular activities, field of study and/or additional criteria for the purpose of funding post-secondary education endeavors. 
 

Educational Enrichment 

​

The BSDEF supports teachers and students in the Blackhawk School District with educational enrichment opportunities including field trips, in-classroom programming, educational supplies and materials, and other approved items. All educational enrichment endeavors are subject to the approval of the Administration of the Blackhawk School District. 
 

Asset Improvement 
 

Supporting teachers and students at the Blackhawk School District by providing new capital assets or improving existing capital assets of the Blackhawk School District. All capital asset expenditures are subject to the approval of the Administration of the Blackhawk School District.
